RAINBOW SPLENDOUR!

I am lucky enough to be on the design team for Rainbow Splendour.... so many lovely goodies to finish off my embellishment clusters!

Here are some of the latest awesome products:

And here are some of my recent pages:

Layers of patterned paper, chevron bag, kraft, tags, book paper and tulle.

A new pretty pin - with a crown, layered amongst flowers, skeleton leaves, twine and sequins....

And the glitter polaroid to frame my photo, then finished with an Imaginarium chipboard starburst, another skeleton leaf, more flowers, twine and sequins. Ah.... love the sprinkles of GOLD!

Sometimes with bright pages, it can be great to colour mat the papers and photos with black cardstock to break up the colours!

I found a red stripy bow in my RS stash and this was perfect to match this page - especially when layered with resin flowers, a fabric brad, and paper flower.

I also found this yellow butterfly Pretty Pin in my RS stash (I musta been saving it!) from a previous RS sale and it was just right for the top corner of the photo... flying off with the kite!

You can see I used the Polaroid frame to house my title, and then layered with a blue spotty bow, and yellow chevron pretty pin. (plus flowers and buttons of course!)

The addition of gold glitter to the frame, really let me pick up that gold theme to run some gold paper at the top and bottom of the page.

Painted green background was created with Jo Sonja's paint - watered down and used on a stamp. I also used the end of the paintbrush to "draw" the border. The orange in the background was Heidi Swapp mist, applied with a paintbrush.

The gold bow is perfect layered with chipboard, flowers and sequins.

And did anyone else receive the lovely surprise pack of vellum confetti in their last order?????
.... a fun addition to any page!

Kraft Plus - January

Hi all,

Well.... there is a new kid in town.... a new challenge blog bringing back one of our favourite things.... KRAFT! So happy to see Kraft Plus starting up for 2015 - make sure you add it to your challenge blog list!

Great colour scheme.... so here is my page....

I finally used my CLEAR liquitex Gesso to prime the Kraft background before using gelatos for the orange on the background. I used Heidi Swapp mist for the turquoise green on the background.

All the colours and bits and die cuts came from my APOCD cupcake kit from January.

And I just loved the NEW camera Pretty Pin from Rainbow Splendour!

Thanks for looking today!
