Here is the Sketch:

Papers: White Cardstock, then scraps of Sassafras, MME, LYB (butterfly cut out from paper) and Crate.
Letters: Thickers and Authentique Uncommon words

Kraft it Up

Last night I did the Kraft it Up challenge - this month it was to create a layout using fabric and stitching. Right! easy!

Here's my layout and even though I don't like scrapping with purple much, I LOVE how this layout turned out!

Paper: Kraft and purple paper from Echo Park (i think it was almost the ONLY sheet of purple paper I could find!)
Letters: October afternoon, thickers, Imaginarium chipboard letters (inked and dimensional magic'd)
Glazed brads (i'm mildly obsessed with these -ask anyone!), heart chippie and flowers.
Also used Crafters workshop bird template with ink and a silver pen.
FABRIC - the flower fabric is a swatch I got from WHO knows where.  Plus i stitched on tulle ruffles. And I made the cream twisted flower out of muslin.
PLUS i had fun making it! Love this quote, works so well with the photo, as I look at this photo of my 8 year old Abby and think of all her dreams for the future!

Thanks for looking!

JUST because layouts....

Here are some layouts I created this weekend - just because- good photos, good papers and inspiration struck!

From our family photo shoot, just love this photo!
Papers: Used new MME Lost and Found 2 papers, plus some old Prima Flights of Fancy paper.
Embellishments: Pearl strand (thanks corinne) and other bits.... love these colours!

Papers: Kraft and white cardstock, with some old brown CRATE paper and yello Daisy D's.
Letters: Thickers and Authentique.
Embellishments: Purple Pumpkin buttons, doily, twine and tickets, plus Another rosette flower from Lil Something, brads and flowers.

Oh bless - me and the girls! Used these lovely Pink Paislee papers, plus an old 7 Gyspy transperancy and old paper sheet, which just happened to the say "Intelligentsia" on it - hence the title - "Thats us"!
Letters: MME lush, October afternoon
Embellishments: Fabric Button from Lovelybug Bits'n'bobs, then more lovelies (Jute flower and Key charm) from Handmade Halo. Old resin hearts I stole from Moira.!!

Love this shot from Fathers Day of Dave and the girls.  And the title Unconditional Love is SO appropriate because no matter how cranky or silly he gets (typical male impatience- bless!) - those girls just love him to pieces.
Papers: Authentique Uncommon, Crate Paper, Basic Grey Out of Print
Letters: Twiddlybit chipboard, authentique
Embellishments: more Fabric Buttons from Lovelybug Bits'n'bobs, Butterfly pin from Lil Something, and flowers - which I smooched to look silver and nice!

Thanks for looking.

Doing the second Stuck Sketch for the month...

Here is mine - it's very GREEN and GOLD.... ha!
As you can see I flipped the sketch over:

I used some COSMO CRICKET paper and stickers from RES
And I do love how the banner and rosette flower clip turned out - they are from A Lil Something

Great sketch! Thanks STUCK!

RED EARTH SCRAPPING

The lovely Helen from RES sent me some goodies last week to play with- and I have had fun! She sent me some cool COSMO cricket paper.

I had papers from the ODDS&ENDS range and SOCIAL CLUB range, plus some bling, buttons and flowers. Don't you love those cute Studio Calico flowers?

Here are two pages:

With more new stock hitting the shelves, you should pop over there NOW! I know that the talented Mistra just posted some new layouts in the gallery, plus the CARD kit by LIZ WEBER is awesome - I'm gonna order mine today!

Get Picky

I did the Get Picky Sketch on the weekend.

Great fun sketch... here's my take...
Lots of little goodies on this page:
Sqaure pebble and wooden button from Handmade Halo
Textured button from Lovely Bug BitsnBobs

Aren't we lucky in Australia to have some many clever people making us and providing us with such lovely things to put on our pages!?

Thanks for looking.

Show us your stuff

Hi there,

Here's a page I did on the weekend of me with my dad... nice photo of us! We went to NZ together recently to visit my Nana and saw all the family over there. Great weekend.

I have never played over at SUYS but I decided to have a go at their sketch for this month. Find the sketch here.

Here's my layout -
Used Brass charms and pebble from Handmade Halo. Plus Corinne from Handmade Halo showed me how to make the lace flower - which looks great!
Twiddlybits chipboard, Prima letters, Sass, Glitz and Prima papers.

There you go...

White with 1

This was a good challenge for me this month at White with 1... use White + pale pink + journal on photo.

Check it out - So cute - jessie looking so adorable.
Papers: Echo Park (perfect pale pink i think!) and basic grey.
Embellishments: MME journal tabs, strings of pearls, Scrapncraft chipboard butterflies, ribbons, a laser cut of unknown origins (!!) and rosette heart, pin, covered buttons all from A Lil something.

Well- I love it!

Amanda

Handmade Halo

Hi all...

Been creating over the weekend, with a few of the papers and goodies from Handmade Halo, now that I am on their design team - along with lots of other talented ladies!

Corinne has some new 8X8 papers from Pretty Little Studio - she's the only one selling their stuff in Australia- so think... unique!

Here's a page I created using the "Scaredy cat" range of papers (for Halloween techniquely)
Plus I added journal tags, jute flower and ghost pebble - Corinne's glass pebbles are so gorgeous and add a great touch I reckon! Heaps of patterns available too!

Next, I used one of her TAPE MEASURE flowers - She has only just designed these - they are not even on the website yet!!!! Love new stuff- if you like them, then let us know!
Layered the flowers, with doiles, resin flowers and pearls.

Close up...

Here's My Olivia dressed as a bride!
This time I have used more "Pretty Little studio" - this time from the "Vintage" collection.  I added lots of Halo resin flowers and other bits and pieces (including stuff from Charms creations).

I have had heaps of fun playing with new things - plenty more in my stash for later!

Thanks for stopping by.

Scrap the girls and SFS

two for one... At Scrap the girls we had to use CLIPS, plus I based my layout on the Sept 2nd Sketch from Mal (who uses paint way better than me...) for SFS.

anyway, here's my layout:
based on this sketch, which I stuck to.

I stuck down clips, pins, brads, etc and then painted over with black, then with my gold Smooch ink and then kinda sprayed a bit with my green Smooch ink spray. Then added pretty bits - well it is a layout about some beautiful girls! Used Glitz papers of course! See the little gold crown I put on - just like their logo!

Fun to be finally scrapping some of my CHA photos!
